Dinner TIME? Well here’s a story that’s food for thought 😉
A long long time ago, when I was just a young girl attending primary school, I had a hooded red coat, just like one you would associate with little red riding hood, and Oh boy, did I love this coat. It was the only coat I wanted to wear even in the freezing cold winter; not keeping me warm of course, as it was pretty thin, but where I thought it looked super cute it was worth the sacrifice.
Many years later I looked back and thought why did I do that? Was I crazy. My nose and hands must have been as red as my coat!
However, in hindsight I can understand why, and while reflecting on it, it taught me a very valuable lesson. My dainty red coat was something I valued, I loved it, and where I was still growing, I knew it wouldn’t last me forever, time was limited and I wanted to make the most of something that brought me great Joy.
So what did this teach me about time?
Time is the most precious resource we have to give, when we give time and energy to something we are saying, I value you, or I’m validating the importance of what I am doing, because I will never get this time back.
What do you give most of your free time too? Is it something you value, bringing you peace, joy and pleasure?
When we do not experience pleasure in everyday life, we remain less then whole, leaving us in a consistent need of wanting, and a feeling of lack, frustration and emptiness within.
It’s easy to get caught up in the mundane, everyday routines and responsibilities, and our responsibilities are important, but it is equally important to take time to do the things you enjoy, the things that make you feel truly alive.
It is when we can connect to that creativity within us, that we can spark that fire of inspiration, leading to a ripple effect in all areas of our life as we begin to live in the energy of joy, gratitude and expansion.
If you had a time limit of just one year, and in that year you would be supported in anything you wanted to do, what would it be? Where would you go? Who would you want to share it with?
It may help give you an insight into the things you enjoy and value, or maybe surprise you in the things you don’t!
Just some food for thought.

Nothing is ever what it seems; It is only what you want it to be.
